Title: End of a Chapter

Notes: Why yes, I did originally write boyband slash. A LONG time ago. Ain't nothin' wrong with going to your roots once in a blue moon.
Summary: A small drabble about Nick and Brian reuniting.
"He's beautiful." Nick commented. They both watched as the little boy ran around the beach. "Leigh must be a real lucky woman."
Brian nodded silently. A grin split his face when the woman in question picked up his son and walked further down the beach to look at tide pools. "Are you mad at me?"
"For what?"
"For getting married. And having a kid."
Nick rolled his eyes. "Of course not, B-rok." He threw an arm around the shorter man. "I love you like I've always loved you." He leaned down and hovered over Brian's lips.
He took the cue and leaned up to kiss him. The kiss itself was soft and sweet. But...it didn't hold the same fire as it did before. There was no spark or passion. Just soft and sweet. Lips.
When they pulled apart, Brian smiled. "Yeah...guess it's the end of an era, huh?"
Nick stretched his long limbs towards the Floridian sky. "Maybe." He winked and raced ahead on the sandy banks to catch up with Brian's family.

But I liked it, yay!
I don't think I could write BSB slash these days. I think a person has to be somewhat obsessed with something before they can write fanfic about it, and I've grown up and far past my boyband obsession days - it's just not there anymore, sigh. Plus the last slash I wrote ended in double suicide, so yeah lol.
